The full-time Internship Enrollment Coordinator will work with interns from the very beginning of the enrollment process until the intern departs for their program overseas. This includes helping the intern choose the best program for them, working with them on their application, and collaborating with overseas partners to set up interviews and confirm internship placements. The successful candidate will work well on a team, be able to work independently, and have experience living, studying, working, or interning abroad. This position will report to the Internships Manager and be part of the new and fabulous Internships Division at CISabroad.
--Marketing & Recruitment
Increase enrollment of students on internship programs and hit program targets
Assist the MarCom department to showcase our internship programs through our website and special student and university partner communications and promotions.
Ensure internship website presence is robust, accurate and up to date.
Increase conversion of inquiries to paid applicants through applied sales techniques throughout the student experience.
--Outreach & Communication
Serve as frontline advisor for internships in our Global Advising Center, during high volume season
Make outbound calls to students who are interested in our internship programs
Respond to incoming calls from prospective students, parents, and study abroad advisors
Develop and maintain information on field-specific placements at each internship locations so that our sales and marketing teams have these details at their fingertips
Involve and champion our site directors’ role in the conversion process, including phone calls, emails, and Google Chat conversations
Work with the Custom Programs department to answer any questions regarding customized internship program opportunities, availability, and details
Maintain call records in database
Update inquiry information and conversation notes in database
Interview or schedule interview with each application early in the application cycle
Serve as point person for on-site staff and partners around on-site branding, student issues, payments, policy, etc.
Advise students on program selection, program details, application process, credit transfer, scholarships, and financial aid processes via email and phone
Serve as main contact for accepted students
Advise on all program-related matters before, during, and after the overseas experience, including tracking all student documents and communication
Assist Internships Manager on program development, on-site issues, and other duties as assigned
Collaborate with other teams and be a team player
Work with Internship Manager on program details, including dates, prices, and budgets
Maintain internal program knowledge on all internship programs, including updating internal program guides
Required Qualifications and Skills
Experience interning, studying, working, or living abroad
Cross cultural communication skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
A robust sense of humor
Familiar with international political, social, and cultural issues as they pertain to education abroad
Ability to lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds

Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently
