The following comprises the duties and responsibilities of the Air Coordinator.
Direct Report: Report to the Air Department Manager.
Air Coordinator Responsibilities: •Be proficient in the use of SABRE Red GDS system.
•Have a high proficiency with international and domestic air routings and fares.
•Be able to handle a high volume of calls for Program Departures assigned.
•Quickly ascertain a passenger’s flight requests, identify appropriate flight combinations that meet the requirements of the Travel Program, finalize the transaction and confirm to the passenger.
•Ensure that a high degree of accuracy is employed to meet the Travel Program requirements so that there are no mistakes.
•Be available to participate in the Company’s Weekend Emergency Coverage for operating Travel Program Departures.

•Keep Department management informed when timeline dates are in jeopardy and suggesting a solution to the problem.

•Know and always support and practice all TPG & Company general staff policies.
•Always support and comply with all TPG & Company management decisions.
•Know and understand that additional time outside of the standard 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. business hours will be necessary at times to complete all responsibilities of this position.
•Keep department management informed of day-to-day progress of assigned programs.
•Prioritize projects in accordance with management.
