On behalf of our client, a major hotel chain, we are seeking an outstanding individual who is competent working independently and is looking for an exciting and flexible full-time sales position.
You will be developing relationships with HOST agencies by building agency partnerships and influencing targeted independent contractors (ICs) to book Hilton’s portfolio of brands within North America.
You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with key HOST agencies to drive engagement and performance.
You will be developing and executing customized sales & marketing plans based on HOST agencies paid and unpaid opportunities targeting ICs.
You will be evaluating new business opportunities within the segment and recommend actions.
You will be representing Hilton at industry tradeshows, special industry events, road shows as well as driving attendance during online webinars and in-person events.
The position will be in the NA Central region, and you will be based from home.
This position requires an outgoing, positive, professional attitude, with strong communication and time management skills.
You will have 3-5 years of related experience in the travel industry in the B2B travel segment preferably within a HOST agency role.
Solid background in developing business relationships and managing partnerships at all levels – face to face, email, video conferencing and telephone.
Good presentation skills and ability to effectively conduct online webinars and manage tradeshows/conferences.
Savvy and active social media user with the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Strong customer service, selling and negotiation skills.
Effective analytical skills.
You must be PC literate and confident using Video Conferencing software, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. You must have full use of a car.
You will receive an annual salary for this full-time role, expense reimbursement, and a year-end incentive bonus. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. Some overnight travel will also be required. This position will require 30% of travel.
