-Providing professional and personalized consultations for each individual traveler with excellent customer service
-Prepare and deliver quote presentations, returning all calls and responding to all emails in a timely manner
-Researching all aspects of travel requests including but not limited to accommodations, transportation, activities, tours, cruises, reservations, price comparison, value comparison, foreign and domestic law requirements in regard to health, visas, passport validity, travel advisories and alerts
-Using special vendor relationships via our travel consortium for inventory and price advantages
-Collect and process payments, fees and deposits to secure bookings
-Providing advocacy for traveler complaints, refunds, special needs assistance, emergency weather situations, etc.
Requirements:
-High School diploma or an equivalency
-1-2 years travel advisor experience preferred
-Great communication, strong work ethic, customer service and friendly skills
-Strong computer, Microsoft Office, internet navigation and research skills
-Able to work well under pressure
-Have very strong attention to detail, time management and be well organized
